New solutions for sustainable energy development by using technological innovations.
New solutions for sustainable energy development by using technological innovations.
In Living Lab Koprivnica we merge companies that offer technology solutions, scientific and research institutions that are able to develop new projects together with economy institutions, citizens as end-users and public institutions that by using high technology can gain new experiences.
The ability to conduct studies and work in real-life test environment and interface with others stakeholders.
Testing new solutions and developing the concept for further merchandising. New advertise and sales channel.
Gain the experience using new technologies with the possibility to facilitate smart solutions through segments, other than lighting, essential for sustainable urban development.
Use of innovative public lighting solutions and possibility to impact on changes and development of smart city solutions.

LED luminaires for road lighting Siteco SL20 – with a casing made of compressed aluminium, are positioned on 8m high lamppost. The LED lamp has Constant Light Output (CLO) through its life expectancy. Both lighting class M4 (motorised traffic) and P3 (pedestrians) are qualified.
Technical standards for this area:
In the upcoming period, when is expected low traffic density, it is possible to set LED luminaires in reduced mode (comply with M5 and P4). Also, that can be controlled via power line system or RF signal (with installation).

Test area 1 - walkway between Miroslav Krleza St and Mijo Simek St
Test area 2 - Miroslav Krleza St
On two test areas, LED electronica has installed it’s PrecisionLux 2 luminaire which has provided a wide range of applications with its modularity, always delivering high quality, efficiency and reliability, and a solution with a combination of multiple lenses on the same luminaire, where the lens concept itself was created by mathematical models within the company, which was later confirmed by laboratory and field measurements. Such a solution enables the installation of a smaller number of luminaires for the same surface coverage while retaining average illumination and uniformity. In addition, PrecisionLux 2 luminaires on a larger test field are equipped with a standard NEMA socket, enabling future mounting of various types of sensors and controllers of our own or third-party production, thus creating a smart node within the public lighting network.
Technical standards for area 1:
Technical standards for area 2:
During the testing period, it is possible to install several different types of sensors and regulators that are connected to the lamps via the NEMA socket, thus creating the IoT environment. It is planned to incorporate measurement of power consumption characteristics of the luminaires for improved algorithming of the lighting control regime, the traffic counter station and the weather station, developed and produced in-house, integrated into the light pole and to integrate all installed system components within the PrecisionLeap SmartCity platform, as well developed in-house, with the implementation of standalone monitoring and street lighting management algorithms.

Distributor
Omega Software d.o.o.
Test area 13 - Mijo Simek St (implementation stage)
Testna polja 4 i 5 - Tomo Cikovic St
Omega Software has implemented modern, energy-efficient LED luminaires with power range 20-100 W, software platform for upcoming IoT tech and smart lighting management application.
Technical standards for area 4:
Technical standards for area 5:
In the forthcoming period, the luminaires expect to develop and implement mobile and web applications for monitor for environment parameters (temperature, humidity, pressure, noise, illuminance), monitoring and control public parking spaces with smart cameras and more.

Technical standards for symmetrical luminaires on area 14:
In all lamps (both test area) is implemented managing lighting system CityTouch, that provides lamp connection with app via GPRS with wi-fi bi-directional data transfer through GSM network (the lamp is server).
In the upcoming period, installation of further lighting system possibilities is planned, as the monitoring and consumption control via WEB application accessed through WEB browser, that doesn’t require any PC installation.

Test area 8 - roundabout near gymnasium Fran Galovic
Test area 9 - Dr. Zeljko Selinger St
LED lamps from the E+ DOVE product line are installed in test area 8. As the test area 8 is roundabouts, we used E+DOVE, B solution, which is suitable for higher capacity road, roundabouts, crossroads and the rest. Roundabouts are in careful zone, which is condition to set the lamp with 100% intensity of the light output.
Technical standards for area 8:
In test area 9, highly effective LED luminaires from batch of production E+DOVE are installed. As the test area 9 is M4 (lower traffic street), it is used S model of E+DOVE luminaire suitable for alleys, walkways, squares and the like. Those LED lamps work in constant all-night mode with reduced intensity which is managed in advance.
Technical standards for area 9:
In the test period, there is the possibility of installing its own LLCS (LED LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM) system that is developed in own laboratory. System possibilities include controlling, detecting and reporting any public lighting malfunction and automatic reporting to approval person (e.g. public lighting maintainer).
We organize expert visits in the Lighting Living Lab area.
