1. Who are we?

2. What does this Statement of Safety and Privacy cover?

This Statement applies to our website living-lab.hr and other services we provide (hereinafter referred to as "Services"). The Statement of Safety and Privacy refers to the personal information and general information we collect from you while using the Services.

We respect your privacy and we process personal data only in accordance with the applicable privacy provisions and the EU privacy policy.

REA North collaborates with trusted partners such as Google LLC for analytical tools (hereinafter referred to as "Partners").

For personal information covered with this Statement of Safety and Privacy used by the website, REA North is the data controller in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Data we collect

While you are using our websites, we can collect technical information on the devices you are using to access our sites, including: internet/mobile network (including your IP address), the make of your mobile phone, the operational system you are using, browsers you are using. All the above mentioned data of our Users do not disclose and personal information.

Email marketing (if applicable): with your permission, we can email you about our project and other updates.

4. How we collect information about you

We can collect, process and use your information in the following situations:

  • Information you provide while using the services
  • Information we get when you contact us through email or provided online forms.

We use cookies to collect information about you and store your selected settings online. For all other purposes we will always ask for your permission and offer the possibility to withdraw the permissions at any moment.

Your personal information can be revealed if required by law or if you violate our Terms of use or Terms of shopping.

7. How do we manage your information?

The data you submit via the website is located on a server located within the European Union and only we, as owners, have access. The server regularly carries out personal data protection measures against unauthorized or unlawful handling, accidental loss of destruction or damage. The server is located in high-quality access control and security systems.

How long do we use your data?

We keep personal information as long as necessary to meet the obligations covered by this Statement of Security and Privacy. In exceptional cases, when required by law, accounting or other legal rules / obligations, the deadline for the retention of your data may be longer than mentioned. If we no longer have reason to keep your data, it will be deleted or destroyed.

Your data is stored as long as you use our services. If you choose to stop using our services, certain information collected about you will remain with us in order to meet our tax, legal and accounting obligations.

How can you withdraw your consent?

You may withdraw your consent to be contacted, for continuous collection, use or disclosure of your information at any time through the privacy center or by contacting us at: info.rea@rea-sjever.hr

8. How do we use your data?

The collected data is used in the following ways:

  • In order to fulfill our obligations regarding providing services
  • In order to ensure the effective functioning of the computer service or any other device you are using
  • In order to provide you with information we feel is relevant to you, such as email notification about service-related issues
  • To assess the effectiveness of our marketing activities and improve the quality of our marketing
  • For tax, legal and accounting purposes;
  • For the purpose of the liability defined by the European Union legislation (GDPR).
9. Sharing information

We do not share your information with third parties. There are exceptions, in the case of our Partners, when we share the most basic information needed to help us fulfill our obligations towards you. Partners may therefore have a potential or genuine access to limited information about you and process them on our behalf. Their official name is data processors:

  • Delivery Service Providing Your Ordered Products
  • Analytical tool vendors (Google);

Project partners has the Cooperation Agreement with REA North and City of Koprivnica (the applicant for the protection of personal data, the person who issues the personal data, may at any time request the delivery of the Partner list, whose are always highlighted at web page www.living-lab.hr)

Your data may be processed, stored and transferred outside the country of residence or the European Union, to the United States. Privacy laws in that country may not have the same level of protection as your state or the European Union. Whenever we share your personal information outside the European Union, we do so on the basis of the standard contractual clauses of the European Union which are legally valid measures that allow us to transfer your data and ensure that they are adequately protected.

10. Miscellaneous 

Please be aware that we are subject to various laws and that we are authorized to share your personal information at the request of the governmental authority or some other form of legal obligation. In the case of reorganization or transfer of ownership of the Service we have the right to transfer your personal information to a third party that will protect them at least to the same extent as we do in this Statement of Safety and Privacy.

12. Changes of the Statement of safety and privacy 

We reserve the right to make changes to this Statement of Safety and Privacy if we consider that this is necessary for legal reasons. In that case, we will post changes on our website. Also, we will update the "Last Changes" section. After we change the Statement of Security and Privacy, it becomes effective immediately after it is published. If you do not agree with these changes, please stop using our services.
