Tuesday, March 12, starting at 17:00, the Living Lab Koprivnica project will be presented to the public. On the territory of the city of Koprivnica, new intelligent public lighting test areas will be presented. The project is led by the Regional Energy Agency North, which is the developer of this project along the City of Koprivnica. In a two-year project, besides REA North and City of Koprivnica, partners of this project are high-tech companies, which play a key role. In the fifteen-minute walk you can see the most technologically advanced LED lamps (Signify, Tungsram, Siteco, Osram, PrecisionLux). Public lighting in the test area between Miro Simek St and Miroslav Krleza St on Lenisce will beside provide energy saving, be a testing ground for innovation. Besides luminaires with its own power supply and operation system, next phaze will bring electric vehicle and bicycles charging stations on each lamppost. In Living Lab area, we are expecting interaction and meeting between project partners who offered advanced technological solutions for public outdoor lighting, as they are going to improve and introduce new functionality. Besides them, research institutes will be enebled to conduct research for the needs of scientific work, public decision makers from city levels, who can experience Smart City solutions grouped at one location and citizens, who will convince in lighting system possibilities right away, and in the monts and years ahead.With the new infrastructure, installed free of charge by the project partners and City of Koprivnica, it is planned to provide households with 5G network, better traffic aigns and signals in the event of risk and much more.

We invite all Koprivnica citizens to visit the outdoor lighting test area. With the billboars, placed in each test zone in Lenisce neighbourhood, the manufacturers and info about LEDs energy savings will be provided.
